Art Exhibition

Cyberabad showcased at A.U.Y.I.E

My digital art series Cyberabad, showcased by Art Urbanism Youth India Exhibition at Théâtre de Verre, France.

Not so far away

A city that provides housing to an extent that homelessness is a myth. Where wifi is 24*7 but no water, vehicles can teleport but still people can’t find time. Nature is scarce; the cubicle houses are exact replicas of each other. Where ownership by MNCs have ensured a system of efficiency. The pixilation’s and visual distortions paint a utopian image, while cleverly hiding it's shortcomings behind the shining landscapes. The dystopian future, which seems light years away is not too far away.

By 2050 the world’s population is expected to reach9.8 billion. Nearly 70 percent of this booming population is projected to livein urban areas. In a densely developed urban hub, sustainable land use withinand outside its borders helps people thrive by providing water, food, andrecreation amongst the community.

Top layers of superstructures disintegration due to atmospheric pollution, scarce availability of oxygen at such heights making it liveable only for the upper class society.

With each room having air conditioning, we are reaching a point where we have made simulated atmospheres - our default living state. Not knowing the seasonal changes nor climatic fluctuations.

Modular house customised for each individual. An era which is far away from family shared spaces. In a cluttered city like this, privacy is a privilege. With the help of augment reality, helping to expand the space around them without owning them have created homes with just one rooms.

Data transmitter farms in community hubs, for data connectivity. These structures are made to penetrate through mega structures around them. A time were data and cloud storage becomes resources and nations will fight for.
